Scope has won the global runner-up prize for the James Dyson Design Award! We're thrilled by their support for our smartphone camera technology and vision, and can't wait for what comes next in Scope's trajectory.

UW team wins global design aware for smartphone camera lens that zooms but keeps picture quality | CBC News A team of engineering students from University of Waterloo has invented a new type of smartphone camera lens called Scope, which will make zoomed in, blurry photos a thing of the past. The invention has also won them an international award.

We're excited to announce that Scope Photonics is one of the recipients for the $60k AC Jumpstart Spring 2020 Grant! It's an enormous extension of support and trust in our vision from the Accelerator Centre and University of Waterloo.

The funding will let us build a much higher quality MVP, hire new co-op students to optimize our processes, and make quicker traction towards our beachhead sales. No rest for the wicked - we're thrilled to be given the resources to go even faster!
