A third of Pakistan is underwater. Heavy monsoon rains and floods have washed away villages – displacing millions – and destroyed critical infrastructure, including houses, roads, bridges and schools. 1,000 people – a third of them children – have been killed since June.

Despite the challenges to access parts of the country affected by the floods, UNICEF’s work for children and their families in Pakistan continues. UNICEF is working to reach as many impacted families as quickly as possible.
