Why is it that when painting a room, ceilings are often ignored or thought of last?

Ceilings should be more than an afterthought, and ideally tackled before painting the walls.

If you think your ceiling doesn’t need painting, just wait until that spiffy, fresh coat of paint is on the walls – you’ll dread the messy hassle of painting the ceiling after the room is done.

Painting the ceiling can cast a fine mist around the room or result in drips on the walls. Painting the walls after the ceiling will make that spatter disappear. For sure better.
