As people across the country mark Canada Day, we would like to encourage our friends and neighbours to reflect on the history of this land and the work that still needs to be done.

It has been 11 years since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) released the 94 Calls to Action.

Where we stand:
* Only 15 of the 94 Calls to Action have been fully implemented.
* 79 calls regarding critical areas like health, justice, child welfare, and education remain unfulfilled.

How you can help:
* Educating Yourself: Read the TRC Final Reports and listen to and support Indigenous voices
* Challenging Misinformation: Speak up against stereotypes and systemic racism.
* Demanding Accountability: Encourage corporate and government leaders to prioritize the remaining 79 Calls to Action.

Reconciliation isn’t only about acknowledging the past, but also about how we make decisions today that protect our lands, waters, and future generations.
