This week's mystery treasure had me doing a double take! At first glance it looks like a colorful ceramic tile mosaic, but look a little closer and you'll discover it's actually a beautifully crafted piece of art made from individually sculpted ceramic tiles fitted together like a puzzle.

This vintage mosaic is the work of Fabián Alvarez, a well-known Ecuadorian muralist and ceramic artist whose work often celebrates the beauty of nature, wildlife, and Andean culture through vibrant ceramic murals and mosaics. The artist's signature can be found right on the piece.

I was immediately drawn to the MCM rich earth tones, bold pops of orange and yellow, and the incredible texture in every tile. The best part? This unique piece was sitting on a thrift store shelf waiting for someone to appreciate it again.

Priced at just $19.99, this thrift store find could be worth several times that amount to the right collector. That's exactly why I love treasure hunting...you never know when you'll stumble across a signed piece of art hiding on a shelf!

This week's treasure hunt had me completely distracted by this glass collection! 😍

From elegant swans and vibrant swung vases to ruffled milk glass and baskets in every colour of the rainbow, there was no shortage of eye candy for vintage glass lovers. The hardest part wasn't finding treasures...it was deciding which ones to admire first!

That stunning ruffled Fenton milk glass epergne nearly stopped me in my tracks, but the colourful art glass pieces were giving it some serious competition. 💙💚❤️
