She is a proud member of , , , , , , the 2SLGBTGIA+ community and is Rainbow Registered through the CGLCC—Canada’s 2SLGBTGIA+ Chamber of Commerce. She is also a Cultural Educator, facilitating Inuit storytelling & corporate cultural awareness sessions.

Joanie is a Leo through and through — confident, passionate and creative. Growing up with three older brothers only helped to shape that strong, bold Leo personality♌
