AIDS Preventie Programma/AIDS Awareness Program, CECA 20

The workshops in Todro went fine. And even the trip going and returning passed without big problems. It was a trip of 5 hours and when we arrived the participants of the afternoon workshop, 'Our Journey' were already waiting. We started that teaching at 1.30 pm until almost 6 pm.
The next two days were for 'Channels of Hope' and also that went fine. All the students of the Bible Institute were there, as were the students of the section Bible School. Also some church leaders attended. During the two evenings of that workshop we showed videos. One of an Ugandan Canon who is living with HIV, Canon Gideon Byamugisha and the second evening a short film we have produced, 'Marriage in the will of God'.
On Saturday morning we had the closure of the workshop, with the session where we light a candle to commit ourselves to be involved. We sang the son 'Jesus let us shine' while walking around the chairs.

During my two weeks in Bunia I gave two workshops that were organized by . Its contents was a mixture of 'Notre Voyage' and 'Canaux d'Espoir'. On 18-19 April we taught a group of teachers, April 23-24 a group of pastors and youth workers participated. After that I attended CECA 20 General Assembly.

Today we organized a workshop teaching how to use 'Notre Voyage' in the secondary schools for the other church sections in Adi church district. Unfortunately two sections were not present :-( but those who were there of the two other sections are keen to start teaching from the book.
