ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT THE SOCIAL AND POLITICAL EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE? DO NOT MISS THE CASSANDRA CONFERENCE
seeks to provide tangible support and concrete answers to those who are already suffering the dramatic consequences of a pathway that begins with climate change and leads to health crises, forced migration, the escalation of armed conflict, and worsening gender inequality.
This online conference is designed to be fully interactive, allowing participants to speak directly and ask questions live to panellists. It will bring together 60 speakers representing local communities from Africa, the Mediterranean, India, and Asia, alongside international NGOs, universities, and research centres.
A special session organised for Cassandra by the European Economic and Social Committee of the European Commission will explore the urgent need for the recognition of climate refugees.
In line with the philosophy of Eurecat, as the principal technology centre in Spain, Cassandra aims to move beyond analysis and contribute to action-oriented, inclusive solutions for those most affected by climate-driven global challenges.
