What's a GERUND?
A GERUND is -ING form of a verb used as a noun.
A GERUND has the following rules to be followed.

1. Uses a Subject.
Examples:
•Smoking is dangerous to health.
• Running is a good habits for heart.
• Playing with kids is very interesting and fun.
• Dancing is an act of pleasure.
2. used after a preposition like, on, at, in, by, with, by , to etc.

Examples are:
• I'm going to be there.
• Mum is walking with James slowly.
• I am going to the meeting by two PM.
• Marcel is sleeping in my bed.
• The car is moving on the highway.
• She is shouting at Mary for no reason.

3. Used after phrasal verbs.
• I am looking forward hearing from you.
• She has advised me to give up smoking.
• He has acted up making him to get annoyed.
• Bi has worked out nothing this weekend.

4. Verbs are followed by a GERUND.
• I enjoy playing football every day.

• She keeps waking slowly.
• she keeps clapping her hands.
•He teaches writing every day in school.
