Five Car Stud 2.0 and HAPPYLAND: No First Aid. Artist talk TONIGHT at 7pm inside the exhibition BLIND SPOTS EXPOSED. It is about two video installations in which Henrik Langsdorf revisits “Five Car Stud” by Edward Kienholz, an iconic art installation about a racist attack on a Black man first shown at documenta 5 in 1972.
“HAPPYLAND” is an expression used by TupokaOgette to describe the state white people are in before they have actively dealt with issues of racism in Germany.
