Each time I step out of my house, I. always wear my headset for the following reasons
- insults: walking on the street, people always color shame me . you will hear people say things like albino you d see so? see juju ehh ,blind man , I no fit ever date albino, You di Waka with umbrella way rain no di fall chaiii ya skim na suffer eh etc
Ofcause I love my color ,I'm confident but at times eh it breaks me so i prefer to wear my headsets to avoid hearing things like that
- I avoid being rude to some people
some people will actually say things that will make me respond rudely to them . just imagine a man will approach me and say I never ever taste albino for my life ,I beg give me small ya 😢 . Just imagine the audacity 😳 if na you. , you no go be rude ?
People beg me money or drinks . Some people exaggerate massa the fact say person the give you once no mean say all time una go see me una go d beg 😢🙏
Tiko people, I'm still a struggling artist. I beg , una take am easy on me
some pregnant women disturb me a lot 😴 😒 they keep telling me to touch their stomach so that their children will be like me. I no be God oooo
lastly, some people will ask me questions that make no sense 😒 😑 🙄 . someone will stop me and ask questions like mami, I beg no vex, oh, but you d see so? , na true say una no d diie or crase ? , na true say una no fit get HIV ?, na true say if I touch you I go de like you? na true say una hair d give mone? etc) . All those things are myths. They are not true. If they were real, I would had been a billionaire by now, and I no for d struggle so
In conclusion, albinism is beautiful, but it is not easy to be one here in the southwest
Truth is in Douala, I hardly face things like that because people don't have that time .
