Today Hope For A Better Tomorrow - HOBET joins the globe in advancing the advocacy against Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM) by contributing, investing in girls to ensure their well-being, dignity, and prospects are protected.

The elimination of FGM requires communities to be informed about its risks, girls to be empowered to assert their rights, and collective action to challenge detrimental norms. At HOBET, we believe that through unity, we can change traditions, protect girls' rights, and create safe environments where every girl can thrive without fear.

✨ End of Year Message Hope for a Better Tomorrow (HOBET) Cameroon ✨

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, our hearts are filled with deep gratitude, reflection, and renewed hope. 💙
2025 has been a year of learning, resilience, impact, and collective strength for Hope for a Better Tomorrow (HOBET) Cameroon and none of this would have been possible without you.

To our donors and funders, thank you for believing in our vision and trusting us with the resources to transform lives. Your financial and moral support has been the backbone of our advocacy and community-based actions. Because of you, conversations around Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), menstrual hygiene, and peacebuilding have reached communities that once remained silent. Your support has planted seeds of hope where fear once lived.

To our volunteers, you are the soul of HOBET. You showed up in communities, schools, outreach sites, dialogues and campaigns with passion, empathy, and courage. You carried our message with your voices, your time, and your hearts. Every survivor supported, every girl empowered, every boy educated, and every community sensitized reflects your selfless commitment. We see you. We celebrate you. We thank you. 🙏🏾

To our Board Members, thank you for your guidance, wisdom, and strategic leadership. Your oversight and belief in accountability and sustainability have kept HOBET grounded, focused, and visionary even in challenging moments. Your dedication continues to shape our long-term impact.

To our staff, thank you for your tireless work, professionalism, and resilience. Behind every successful project, report, outreach, and campaign is your dedication. You carried HOBET’s mission not just as a job, but as a responsibility to humanity. Your consistency, creativity, and compassion remain our greatest strength.

And to our Founder and Coordinator, we extend profound appreciation for the vision, courage, and unwavering commitment to justice, dignity, and equality. Your leadership continues to inspire change, mobilize action, and remind us that hope is powerful when backed by purpose.

As we close this chapter, we look boldly into 2026, a year that promises many surprises, deeper impact, and expanded advocacy. We are preparing to strengthen our work around:
• Ending Gender-Based Violence and r**e
• Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health education
• Promoting menstrual hygiene with dignity
• Reviving and sustaining traditional and community-led activities that promote body anatomy awareness, consent, healing, and peace in Cameroon and beyond

2026 calls us to do more, reach further, and stand stronger together. We invite you to continue this journey with us: to partner, to support, to volunteer, to amplify our voices, and to remain champions of hope and change.

From all of us at Hope for a Better Tomorrow (HOBET) Cameroon, thank you for walking with us. Thank you for believing in a future free from violence, stigma, and silence. Together, we are building a better tomorrow one community, one voice, one life at a time. 💫

Here’s to a hopeful end and an even more impactful beginning.
Happy New Year in advance! 🎉

Revenge p**n destroys lives, silences women, and causing lasting emotional and psychological harm. Together, we must speak out, support survivors, and push for stronger digital safety laws and reporting system.
