In partnership with Safe Haven Foundation-Cmr , we successfully hosted The Wellbeing Studio: Dialogue Circle, bringing together young people in Yaoundé for honest conversations about wellbeing, mental health, life pressures, and the importance of supportive communities.

A highlight of the event was the Dialogue Table discussion following the screening of the BBC News Africa documentary on mental health in Zimbabwe. Our Executive Director Mbi Aziseh joined fellow panelists Marie Solace Ngwe and Ngwi Brandy in a thought-provoking conversation on mental health realities across African communities, the need to address stigma, and the importance of creating safe spaces where young people can speak openly and access support.

Throughout the event, participants shared experiences, exchanged perspectives, and reflected on the challenges and opportunities surrounding wellbeing. The discussions revealed a common thread: many young people face similar struggles, and meaningful dialogue can help foster understanding, connection, and resilience.

We are grateful to everyone who participated, shared their stories, and contributed to making the Dialogue Circle a welcoming and impactful space.
