Arrive around 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Best photo time: just before sunset (“blue hour”)
Pavilion lighting time changes by season:
Summer: around 7:00–7:30 PM
Winter: around 5:30–6:10 PM
Lights usually stay on until about 10:00 PM.

Take Jinan Metro and stop near:

Daming Lake South Gate
Or take taxi/Didi directly to South Gate

Recommended walking route:
South Gate → Lake Walk → Chaoran Pavilion → Bridge Reflection Spot → Lakeside cafes → Night photography → Exit from East/Northeast Gate.

Best reflection photos: southwest bridge area near the pavilion.
Use night mode on phone camera
For front-row lighting photos, arrive at least 30–60 minutes early because it gets crowded.
