The CPC system is used to detect the strip edge position dynamically to keep the strip always run along the centerline of the production line. Its used types are: scanning sensor type and inductive sensor type.
The type of CPC system should be selected not only according to the process requirement, but also practical production experience. For pickling lines, the CPC before the trimmer must use inductive sensor. This is a valuable experience we have obtained from actual production practice.
