š„ Welcome: Voluntary Firefighting Association PanÄevo (DVD PanÄevo)

We are proud to welcome the Voluntary Firefighting Association PanÄevo (Dobrovoljno vatrogasno druÅ”tvo PanÄevo) as a new member of the ProSafeNet network!
Founded on July 30, 1871, DVD PanÄevo is one of the oldest organized firefighting associations in Serbia. Citizens of PanÄevo came together to form a structured and united effort in protecting lives and property from fireāat the confluence of the TamiÅ” and Danube rivers.
The first president of the association was Karla Vajfert, a respected local leather craftsman.
Today, more than 150 years later, DVD PanÄevo continues its mission with the same dedication:
š„ fire prevention,
šØ rapid and coordinated firefighting response, and
šØāš the promotion of volunteerism and civil protection.
As part of the ProSafeNet global hub, DVD PanÄevo joins professionals and organizations dedicated to improving safety, resilience, and disaster risk reduction across sectors and borders.
