Meet Mimi — our brave, brilliant Malinoise who has survived more than most dogs ever will.  She’s not even 3 years old, yet her story reads like a battle for life.

Mimi lived as a stray until she was thrown into the government shelter with a horrific injury: a full fracture, her bone completely separated and exposed — one part attached to the elbow, the other to the clavicle, and the rest simply hanging. She was in agony… and she was alone.

In April 2025, Bojan completed all the paperwork, took her out of the shelter, and rushed her straight to Dr. Vlada for emergency surgery. Thanks to them, Mimi survived.

Her front leg is now healthy, but shorter than the others — which is why she doesn’t use it. With a prosthetic support, Mimi will be able to walk on all four legs again. She deserves that chance.

And here’s the part that makes her extraordinary:

Mimi is amazing with dogs, cats, and kids.  She’s smart, fast, and confident — she naturally became the “head of the pack” alongside Mr. Beli. Together, they guide newcomers, correct bad behavior, and keep the peace. In so many videos, you’ll see Mimi watching over the young ones, stepping in gently when needed. She is a leader. She is a teacher. She is a survivor.

Now she needs a home.

We are encouraging international adopters to apply for Mimi.  She will thrive in a family environment, especially with the leg support she needs. She is healthy, loving, social, and ready for a life filled with comfort and care.

This beautiful little 3-month-old girl was rescued, examined by the vet, and is already on her way to a loving foster home. ❤️

Every rescue story is different.

Some dogs are with us for only a few days before they find a foster or forever family. Others stay for months... sometimes even years... because they are fighting chronic illnesses, recovering from devastating injuries, or simply because no one chooses the ones who need the most help.

At Pasha ARC, we never measure a life by how long it stays with us. We measure it by how much love, comfort, and hope we can give to them while they're here.

We celebrate one little life getting a fresh start—and tomorrow we'll continue caring for those still waiting for theirs.
