Gardoš Tower, Millennium Tower or Tower of Sibanjin Janko is the most famous landmark in Zemun, part of Belgrade. Located by the Danube river, on top of a hill it offers a phenomenal view. It was built in 1896 as a memorial to celebrate a 1000 years since the Hungarian settlement in these parts. It is a part of a set of four towers built in four cities in the furthest corners of the Hungarian kingdom.
