📚 Literature as a Bridge | Building Peace Through Stories

Within the project “Literature as a Bridge: Empowering Youth Workers for
Reconciliation, Conflict Prevention, and the Promotion of EU Values”, we
have implemented a regional training for youth workers and professionals
working with young people focused on peacebuilding, intercultural
dialogue, and empathy through literature.

After the training, participants carried out local workshops in their
communities, using literary works to explore human rights, tolerance,
conflict, and reconciliation.

📖 We are now preparing a digital, interactive handbook that will provide
guidance for workshops using literature from around the world to address
themes such as violence, fascism, extremism, war, and reconciliation.

🤝 Implemented by Grupa “Hajde da”, in partnership with Association
“Prijateljice”, "Centar za mir Osijek", and Public Institute “Mladi
zmaji”.
