Soft breasts don’t mean your milk supply is low 🤍
So what does it mean? 🧐
1️⃣ Your milk supply goes through an adjustment period during the first 6–8 weeks postpartum. During this stage, it’s very common to feel overly full, heavy, or leak frequently.
2️⃣ After those first few weeks, if your baby is feeding regularly and gaining weight well, your body simply adjusts to your baby’s needs. Supply becomes more efficient and regulated according to demand.
At this point, your breasts are more used to frequent milk removal, so they often start feeling softer and lighter than they did in the beginning.
You’ve also probably become more accustomed to that early fullness and engorgement feeling. The good news? That uncomfortable stage doesn’t last forever breastfeeding usually starts feeling easier and more manageable with time ✨
⚠️ Remember: a baby who is thriving, content, and gaining weight appropriately is one of the best signs that breastfeeding is going well 💜
The secret to a great milk supply😌
SPOILER ALERT ⚠️
The secret for a great milk supply is no secret at all.
Yeap! As simple and as complicated as it sounds. You don’t need to take special teas, or eat certain foods, or undergone expensive treatments. This not skincare 😆
This is about to understand how your body works, how the milk cycle works!
We are mammals, and as every mammal in the 🌎, our body is designed to breastfeed our babies when they’re born. And our babies are designed to take the breast after birth. We have all the equipment for that.
Sooo… the main and most important thing you need to produce milk is suction. Suction on your breast! That’s the only way your body have to understand that there’s a baby here and it needs to start working. No pill, tea or food will do that.
This is pure Nature.
I know there can be challenges, but my point is, if something isn’t working the way Nature conceived it, there must be a cause.
⚠️Look for help to find it out.

Buying a pump nowadays can be really overwhelming 😳 There’re so MANY brands in the market that is impossible to keep updated. But is important for be familiar with the types of pumps and the advantages of each one of them.
Answering the question, ‘why will you need to pump?’ responds to the frequency you’ll need it. It’s not the same pumping once a day or every other day for occasional bottles, and pumping 6-8 times a day.
In other words, how many bottles do you need per day? Remember for every bottle, one pumping session, so the ratio pumping-bottle is 1:1.
And finally, you must know your correct fl**ge size. This is a game changer when is comes to milk output. The best fl**ge size is the one that is comfortable for you, and at the same time more milk comes out.
