A great psychological tool!
An effective conversation starter is basically any question that helps parents better understand the rich network of thoughts and feelings that shape their children’s developing sense of themselves and the world around them.. but they can be used by adults too.
It helps making interesting conversations, avoiding one word-answer and embarrassing silence, creating a valuable dialogue environment.

🤩Conversation starters are a great way to help your child develop characteristics such as gratitude, imagination, empathy, and confidence, they help bonding with friends and increase their vocabulary and ability to express themselves.

📚At the end of a unit focused on learning school vocabulary for example, I integrated some targeted conversation starters to review not only words, but also critical moments in the school environment, and indirectly getting feedback on it.
