My name is Jiří Šikola.
I live in the north of the Czech Republic, in the glass town of Jablonec nad Nisou.
Since childhood I have been producing Czech glass beads together with my parents.
My parents taught me the creation and production of glass beads.
My parents are making glass beads in a family business.
My dad taught me to grind glass beads on my machine.
I prefer forming a glass bead surface with a glass furnace and polish.
My mom has taught me a fine work with a sense of detachment.

I love to make glass beads.
I love glass.
I look for inspiration in nature, everywhere I go on a trip.
I adore new shapes of glass beads in the changing colors of silk.
She has a glass work, reflecting who I am.
