How Flo made his way into Acro:
"I've had a few encounters with AcroYoga over the years through friends and at Uni, which I quite enjoyed. It never really stuck with me at the time as I was primarily focusing on martial arts. But still acro remained something enticing which I'd wanted to delve into eventually, time allowing, in the future.

So it sat on my to-do list for a few years already, when I received a strong impulse in life to open up, build trust, become more loving and kind. These are qualities I already associated with and cherished in Acro. Therefore I just started attending different acro classes and jams throughout Berlin starting in 2019.

After some time, a wish to deepen and progress my practice with a regular training partner arose. Eventually I found a great flyer and quite knowledgeable teacher from whom I learned a ton over a couple of weeks. Due to her returning home, by summer '20 I was yet again searching for a partner. That's when Anja and I met one fine Sunday and agreed on playing again...

What's Anja's way to acro?
"My first encounter with acroyoga actually was during "Kieler Woche" in 2015 as I watched a small performance of the acroyogis there doing some (for me now) basic acro stuff what just blew my mind. 🤩

I was fascinated, but didn't do anything about until my best friend asked me to join a 10 weeks acroyoga course just to try if we like it. And we did, although the first sidestars were so painful and frustrating. 😜

As I left Leipzig then to travel the world I mostly neglected all I had found to rediscover my strong desire to do acroyoga again after being settled back at one place - in Berlin. I took heart and ventured out to an acroyoga jam in Treptower Park... and met Flo there." 🤗
