Dear Cory and Bev.
Sorry for the late response/repost, as I just got back last night from my romantic follow-on trip with Roy to Monterey (it was our make-up anniversary trip given that we said our vows there in September a quarter of a century ago).
Anyway, I can honestly say that I never had any regrets placing runner-up behind Bev at the 87 World Pro and Cory at the 88 Ms O. It was an honor to have shared the stage with such world class competitors as the two of you, as well as the many other great athletes of our era (too many names to mention).
I was pleasantly surprised and extremely grateful that we and our families were all able to meet at the O.
I certainly hope to see you both again, but probably not in Vegas! Let’s find a more beautiful place to meet next time.
Australia or Monterey, maybe?
