GAIA - Holistic Patch Design

This year I take my eggplant inside.
Where I live (USDA zone 7) tomatoes, peppers and eggplants don't grow as perennials. This year however I'll take some plants inside. I actually find that they are in no way inferior to ordinary houseplants. Next year I hope to be able to harvest the first aubergines early.
Who else takes some veggie plants inside?
