Educational Symposium:
Pharmacy education: Beyond borders

At this symposium, Attendees will have the chance to fully comprehend the basic requirements for pharmacists to be considered for registration is an under graduate or post graduate?

A new pharmacy graduate may choose to complete an optional post-graduate residency (1-3 years) rather than entering directly into pharmacy practice. A pharmacy residency consists of one or two years of specialized residency. Residencies allow a graduate to further have their clinical skills in a structures environment.

The IPSF World Congress is the most premier event of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) and the largest global meeting of pharmacy students in the world.

About 500 to 550 international participants will attend the congress that has a program of 10 days in duration, which include the IPSF General Assembly (the highest governing body of IPSF), Scientific and Educational Symposia, and a variety of workshops. International speakers are regularly invited to give keynote speeches at the Symposia and run workshops to further develop the knowledge of pharmacy students worldwide.

The 58th IPSF World Congress is hosted by the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (EPSF) in Hurghada, where students from over 60 countries from all around the world will gather in Egypt for 10 days of education and networking sessions.

The congress is held under the supervision of International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ministry of Culture, and Egyptian Pharmacists Syndicate
