When I first began on my EMMETT career I trained as an EMMETT equine therapist for one year under the instruction of Tony Sherry. It was a transformational year for me and an amazing initiation into my EMMETT journey. Learning from Tony was an amazing introduction to the technique. Personally being from an equine background I was fascinated at how big a response could be provoked by such a light touch. A horse doesn’t think about what’s happening in/on their bodies- they simply react to the stimulus. Immediately I was hooked. I had to know more. This encouraged me to continue on my journey and I went on to study the human side of the EMMETT Technique which has taken my understanding, knowledge and appreciation of EMMETT to a whole different level.
