Celebrating Progress in Family Planning: World Vasectomy Day 2025
St. Paul Institute for Reproductive Health and Rights, in collaboration with Ministry of Health, St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College, MSI Ethiopia, Arbaminch University, and the Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia, has successfully celebrated World Vasectomy Day for the second time in Ethiopia on November 21,2025!
This year, the vibrant city of Arbaminch served as the backdrop for an impactful week of training dedicated to healthcare professionals. Starting five days prior to the event, healthcare professionals engaged in comprehensive theoretical and practical sessions, culminating in a fruitful campaign that emphasized the critical role men play in family planning.
This year’s theme, "Men's Act of Love Towards Their Partners," perfectly encapsulated our mission: to engage men in family planning and raise awareness about its importance.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this event a success. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to empower men and women alike in their reproductive health journeys!
