_puppa Mesganie my Love,

Mesganie, my angel. My love. My beautiful daughter. 💗

Today is your birthday, and my heart is overflowing. When I close my eyes, I still see every moment from the day you were born. Every smile, every hug, every tear, every joy — I carry them all inside me.

I remember the first time I left you when I traveled to deliver Dagiye at the airport — even for those few days, my heart ached. And again, when you left for America, those last days before your departure were so heavy. I did not tell you, but I cried for two days, because knowing you were leaving made my heart feel empty and full at the same time — full of love, full of sadness, full of mother’s longing.

But the memory that never leaves me —
is when you left to go to high school at Lancaster Mennonite at just 14 years old.
My God, Mesguie, you were so young.
I could not breathe from missing you. I cried quietly for days.
I was proud of your future, but my heart was breaking because my baby was far.

And when you returned back home to live with us again — ah, that was joy.
That was wholeness.
That was my heart returning to my chest.
We were together again — mother and daughter, soul and soul.

And then your graduation — I can still see it like today.
You stood there with grace and wisdom beyond your years.
You said, “Education does not only teach us knowledge. Family teaches us how to sit, how to walk, how to eat with a fork and knife.”
Those words still echo in my heart.
You spoke like a queen, like a child raised from love.

And then, when you left again to Florida for your higher education
I went through the same storm.
I cried, I prayed, I held my chest.
I missed you every day, because I cannot live without you, my love.

Mesganie,
You are my strength, my joy, my beauty.
You made me beautiful — inside and outside.
You made me flourish.
You made me young again in my spirit, in my heart, in my soul.

I love you more than words can ever express.
I miss you deeply — every single day.

I wish you every happiness in this world
every blessing, every joy, every success, every peace.

Mesganie,
yenie fiker.
My heart.
My daughter.
My soul.
I love you forever.
Your Loving Mom,
Gizeshwork Tessema

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to people from all over the world, especially our brothers and sisters in the Diaspora, who have been sending me such touching and encouraging messages.

Your words truly moved me. I am deeply thankful for the love, appreciation, and support I’ve received. It’s incredibly inspiring to see so many women and young girls taking initiative — finding ways to earn income while caring for their children.

The digital world has opened new doors for all of us. You no longer have to wait for an opportunity, you can create one. With the right mindset, knowledge, and passion, you can build your own path while making a difference in your community.

My heartfelt appreciation goes to ALIVE PODCAST and Abrham Fantu for their remarkable initiative. You have touched countless lives and sparked hope, purpose, and action across the globe. The messages I receive every day show how many educated and talented individuals are ready to give back and help develop their country.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you all. I am truly humbled and inspired by your energy and commitment.
