The new scheme introduced by Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) will not apply for Ethiopian import and export shipments.

Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) announced that it will apply the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) for incoming cargos on to the ports in Djibouti as of June 15th.

The ECTN is an electronic document that tracks the movement of goods through international trade. It is used to improve security and safety, and to facilitate customs clearance.

However, according to Capital, Ethiopian imports and export shipments are not included in this new scheme.
