ENTRO is the Eastern Nile Technical office of the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI), which is an intergovernmental partnership of the Nile Basin Countries.

ENTRO Internship Program
ENTRO pioneered the internship program in the Nile Basin since 2011; Till now the number of interns reach to 150 interns who were enrolled in 13 different batches; 3 batches under Eastern Nile Planning Model (ENPM) project , 8 batches under Nile Cooperation for Results (NCORE) project and 2 batch under the NCORE – AF2.
The main objective of the program is to support Eastern Nile cooperation by creating a knowledge community among young professionals to support the emergence of a shared understanding about the resource base – its potentials, the risks it is facing and its future. Other objective is also helping a new generation of potential water professionals and leaders to acquire new skills, develop new regional collaborations, and contribute multi-sectoral perspectives to enhance ENTRO’s knowledge and analytical services. .
