A great evening was had by all, at the Annual Fete what a setting amongst the vines 🍇 , and to top it off delicious food from our lovely friends Dean and Lottie
Warm Scotch eggs and Onion Bhajis prepared in their own special way 👌. What a hit, they were queuing all night the smell and flavours were amazing…. Well done on your first event you smashed it 🇫🇷🍾.

Ode to Sunflowers

Just had to share this beautiful pic that our friend

In golden hour, where sunlight softly falls,
Sunflowers stand tall, their faces turned toward grace.
Their petals gleam like stars, a celestial call,
In fields of dreams, a sanctuary’s embrace.

Beneath the skies of azure, ever so bright,
They sway and dance, their whispers carried by the wind.
South France’s clime, a subtropical delight,
Where nature’s beauty finds its canvas, unconfined.

But shadows loom, a threat that grows apace,
Climate change’s grip, a chilling, somber hand.
Sunflowers wither, losing hope’s embrace,
As heat and drought ravage the once-fertile land.

Yet still, they stand, a symbol of our plight,
A plea for change, a call for hope’s bright ray.
Sunflowers fade, but love’s eternal light
Endures within us, guiding us through each fray.
