Après plusieurs mois de préparation, de réflexions, d’échanges, d’écriture et de rêves un peu fous ; les pré-inscriptions de “Echoes of a Thousand Years” sont désormais ouvertes, et je suis heureuse de vous présenter mon petit teaser, qui vous présente le projet (QR code à la fin pour s'inscrire).

J’ai la joie de participer à cette aventure à la fois comme directrice de la communication, mais aussi comme co-auteur du livret avec Rémi Delekta.

Je crois profondément que certains projets artistiques dépassent la simple idée du concert. Ils deviennent des espaces de rencontre, de transmission et de mémoire collective. C’est exactement l’esprit de cette création.

En avril 2027, 300 choristes venus de 7 pays d'Europe se retrouveront en Normandie pour donner naissance à une œuvre originale pour chœur et orchestre, autour de mille ans d’histoire, de circulation des peuples, d’héritages et de liens humains.

L’œuvre sera dirigée par Gilles Treille, composée et écrite par Rémi Delekta, Ferdinand Bistocchi, François-Xavier Borsi, Gilles Treille et moi-même, avec la présence exceptionnelle du compositeur norvégien Ola Gjeilo.

Pendant une semaine chantante à Ouistreham, du 12 au 17 avril 2027, les choristes travailleront ensemble sous la direction de Fabrice Penin, Pierre Bolinche et Rémi Delekta, avant deux concerts :
- Le 16 avril 2027 à la Cathédrale de Rouen
- Le 17 avril 2027 au Zénith de Caen

Ce projet s’adresse à des choristes ayant déjà une solide expérience de la polyphonie, capables de travail personnel et désireux de vivre une aventure musicale exigeante, mais profondément humaine.

J’avoue être particulièrement émue de voir ce projet commencer réellement à prendre vie. J’ai hâte de découvrir les visages, les voix, les parcours humains qui composeront cette aventure européenne hors du commun.

After several months of preparation, reflections, conversations, writing, and a few slightly crazy dreams, the pre-registrations for “Echoes of a Thousand Years” are now officially open, and I am happy to share with you this small teaser introducing the project (with a QR code at the end to register).

I have the joy of taking part in this adventure both as Director of Communications and as co-author of the libretto alongside Rémi Delekta.

I deeply believe that some artistic projects go far beyond the simple idea of a concert. They become spaces of encounter, transmission, and collective memory. That is exactly the spirit of this creation.

In April 2027, 300 singers from 7 European countries will gather in Normandy to bring to life an original work for choir and orchestra, centred around a thousand years of history, the movement of peoples, shared heritage, and human connections.

The work will be conducted by Gilles Treille, composed and written by Rémi Delekta, Ferdinand Bistocchi, François-Xavier Borsi, Gilles Treille and myself, with the exceptional presence of Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo.

During a singing week in Ouistreham, from April 12th to 17th, 2027, the singers will work together under the direction of Fabrice Penin, Pierre Bolinche and Rémi Delekta, before two concerts:

- April 16th, 2027 at Rouen Cathedral
- April 17th, 2027 at the Zenith of Caen

This project is intended for singers with solid experience in choral polyphony, capable of independent preparation, and eager to take part in a demanding yet profoundly human musical adventure.

I must admit that I feel particularly moved to see this project truly beginning to come to life. I cannot wait to discover the faces, the voices, and the human journeys that will shape this extraordinary European adventure.
