In a month’s time, Paris will welcome over a thousand participants from around the world for three days of campaigning for universal abolition.

Organised by ECPM – Together Against the Death Penalty, sponsored by France (the host country), and co-sponsored by the European Union and Switzerland, the Congress will take place from 30 June to 2 July 2026 at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique and then at the Hôtel de Lassay.

Pour rappel, près de 500 affiches ont été reçues cette année par le Réseau international
pour l’éducation à l’abolition, provenant de plus de 17 pays ! Les 50 affiches déjà
sélectionnées feront l’objet d’une exposition itinérante internationale, qui sera également
présentée lors du Congrès.

poster competition!

You can still choose the 3 winning posters of the People’s Choice Award, which will be
bestowed at the 9th World Congress Against the Death Penalty, to be held in Paris from 30
June to 2 July 2026.

As a reminder, nearly 500 posters have been received this year by the International Network
for Education for Abolition, from more than 17 countries! The 50 posters already selected will
be featured in an international travelling exhibition, which will also be presented at the
Congress.
