People think they’re paying me for exercises.
They’re really not.
You can get exercises anywhere, for free, in seconds.
What you actually pay for with a trainer is the bit that’s hard to do for yourself: turning up. Now I know that sounds harsh but hear me out!
It’s the session you won’t skip, the plan you don’t have to think about, and the quiet certainty you’ll leave feeling better than when you walked in.
If you’ve tried going it alone again and again and it keeps not sticking, that’s not a character flaw.
Some things are just easier with someone in your corner.
If 2026 is the year you finally stop putting your body last, comment READY and I’ll send you the details

If you’ve ever thought “I can’t come to a stretch class, I’m not flexible enough” that’s a bit like saying you can’t have a bath because you’re not clean yet.
You don’t get loose and then come. You come, and the loosening happens here. Gently, at your own pace, with nobody watching and nothing to get wrong.
Mostly though, this is time for you. Forty-five minutes by the water where the only thing on your list is to breathe out and let your shoulders drop. You’ll leave feeling looser, calmer, and a good bit more like yourself.
If 2026 is the year you finally do something good for you and actually enjoy it, comment BEACH and I’ll send you the details.

That tight, grumbly knee you keep meaning to sort out? Five minutes. Three things.
If you run, walk a lot, garden, or you’re on your feet all day, your knees take a hammering and most of the time they’re not the actual problem.
They’re just stuck doing the work other muscles have clocked off from. The good news: a little, often, makes a genuine difference.
You don’t need an hour or a gym. You need five honest minutes a few times a week.
If stretching is the thing you always mean to do and never quite get to — that’s exactly what our new Thursday Stretch on the Beach classes are for! Comment BEACH for more details 🌅
Save this so it’s there next time your knees start grumbling. Tag the runner / walker / gardener in your life whose knees have opinions.

The kettle takes about 90 seconds to boil. That’s roughly enough time to do three exercises that genuinely make a difference to how your body feels day to day.
Not a workout. Not a programme. Just three small things that strengthen the muscles you use all the time without even thinking about it — squats for your glutes and quads, calf raises for, well, your calves, and a bit of point-and-flex for your feet and ankles.
These are the muscles that get you out of bed, up the stairs, around the supermarket, and off the floor after playing with the kids. They quietly do everything. Give them 90 seconds while you wait for your brew and they’ll keep doing it for years to come.
Save this one for the next kettle-boil and tell me which one you tried 🍵

I know I talk a lot about rest and recovery, and there’s a reason for that — I’ve learnt (the very hard way) what happens when you don’t.
The burnt-out weeks. The injuries that crept in because we ignored the warning signs. The years we spent thinking “I’ll rest when…” before realising the “when” never actually arrives.
So I put together the biggest lessons I’ve learned about rest, recovery and looking after a body that has to last a lifetime. Not because I’ve got it perfectly figured out (I haven’t), but because every single one of these is something we wish we’d known sooner.
Save this one for the next time you catch yourself pushing through something you should be pausing for.
Which lesson are you still learning? I promise, you’re not the only one 💚

“Falling off track” is one of those phrases I’d quite like to retire.
Because most of the time, people haven’t fallen off anything, they’ve just had a busy week, a rubbish week, a tired week, or a week where life simply needed more of them than usual.
That’s not failure. That’s being a person.
So instead of spiralling into the guilt, these are the 5 questions I genuinely ask myself when I notice that voice getting louder.
They’re not designed to push you harder. They’re designed to help you be a bit more honest, and a lot kinder, with yourself.
Save this one for the next time the guilt creeps in 💚
