What better way to celebrate the first full week of the summer holidays than with a song! It’s short, snappy and reinforces a common phrase we associate with the Summer!

Repetition is key in supporting children’s language acquisition in any language (think back to how many times you said mama or dada before you heard your child say it back!) which is why this rhyme focuses on the repetition of that one sentence structure.

It’s set to the tune of ‘Head shoulders knees and toes’ - a tune we’re all familiar with to encourage us all to have a go at home!

The Fair Play Regional Small Grant Scheme 2026/27, funded by the Department of Health, is now open for applications.

This funding aims to support early years providers to ensure that children with additional needs can fully participate in early years services, helping to create inclusive, positive environments for all.
