Mongol Rally

The deadline to sign up to the Mongol Rally 2026 is this Friday, 24th April.

After that we'll be resorting to obscurity and refusal until we open up for 2027, unless you come up with something imaginatively persuasive or have a car so tiny and unlikely to make it to the finish line, that we can't resist.

We have attached to this announcement some suggestively persuasive electro-prints to help you decide to come. They are a collection of some of your most liked pictures on Face-doom. Apparently you lot really like trying to kill Mr Buddy, , rude awakenings at our launches, mud volcanoes, high-tech Rally prep, Trump showing up like a ghoulish Jesus in steak form, simple navigation techniques, ingenious suspension hacks, giving up on roads, and nobs on cars. We're feeding this into our demographic analysis as we write...

The world's greatest motoring adventure is nearly upon us.

This summer, 112 teams will take on the Mongol Rally 2025. They thunder forth from the Start Line in the Czech Republic on July 12th and cross the Finish Line a few weeks and thousands of miles later in the far east of Kazakhstan, if they make it to the Finish Line at all.

To keep this rabble in check, we employ a complex matrix of 3 rules: their vehicle must be 1 litre or less; they do the Rally unsupported and they have to raise at least £500 for charity.
