Meet the Founder
Stuart Gander—known as "Goose"—founded Wildgoose Rangers with a clear vision: to bridge the gap between military expertise and wildlife conservation. Drawing on years of operational experience, Stuart developed a comprehensive training programme that transforms everyday people into skilled conservation rangers.
A British Army veteran, Stuart served with the Ace Mobile Force (AMF) and 32 Heavy Regiment Royal Artillery before undertaking Special Duties in Northern Ireland, Egypt, and Eastern Europe. His operational background in high-pressure, multinational environments shaped the disciplined, mission-first ethos that underpins every Wildgoose Rangers programme.
After leaving the forces, Stuart channelled his PTI expertise into the private health and fitness industry—working across gyms, personal training, event management, and club ownership. From there, he pushed into more entrepreneurial ventures globally, establishing Adventura Global, Emerald Escapes, and the Wildgoose Rangers—all of which funnel funds into one cause: ending the poaching crisis.

Helping anti poaching rangers protect and fight back across the globe is our mission and we always need your help and support. We need ex military clothing and equipment that we can donate to serving rangers. We need your donations and money to help pay for training, costs and getting equipment to far reached places. If you are ex forces yourself and want to get involved by donating equipment or help with training then we always need volunteers. If you love wildlife and want to help but are too young to come with us then you can become one of the Wild Geese and show your support by raising awareness yourself and one day you may be able to join us protecting our planets wonderful creatures from the evil humans that kill them.
