On the testing bench today is this FMT2 Tuner, part of the high end Ion Nexus system. This is the only one we have ever seen and fixing it was quite a challenge!

Here's a view of a CTA252 XD11 you might not have seen before. One of the guy's downstairs just bought a heat sensitive camera attachment for his phone and brought it in for us to have a look at. Don't be alarmed at the bright spots, this CTA is not overheating, it's just that the camera is very sensitive to small changes in temperature, which makes it quite a useful diagnostic tool. It was very useful as it helped us identify an overheating transistor on another piece of kit that's been driving us mad as it's been on the work bench for several weeks!

This is one of two pairs of Ion Nexus crossover boards and is the Nytech equivalent of rocking horse poo! They are so rare we asked the owner to send them in so we could have a look as we've never seen them before!
