This is an image of Station Square - our idea for the regeneration of the area next to the train station. We would like to encourage high quality companies to relocate into the town centre, by building offices and facilities next to the station to make full use of the excellent rail links and helping to support the town centre retail economy.
Just had a focus session with pupils from Sheldon to talk about making the town more interesting to younger people. There were lots of ideas, night life, skatepark, retail, cinema, were the most popular - hope to see the feedback of good examples of these they have seen elsewhere. What are your ideas ?
