Monday morning check-in.

Now, I know fine well it isn’t always easy to spring out of bed full of the joys. Life can be bloody hard at times, and some mornings it takes a bit more effort than others just to get yourself moving.

But what’s the alternative?

So come on… up and at it.

Open the curtains, get the kettle on, take a breath, and give the day a chance. You don’t have to conquer the world before lunchtime. Just start. One job, one walk, one phone call, one decent meal, one small thing that makes you feel a little more like yourself.

There’s still good stuff out there. Good people, good food, good music, a bit of fresh air, a laugh where you least expect it.

So here’s your gentle nudge from me this morning.

Get up. Get washed. Get dressed. Make the day meet you halfway.

And if today feels a bit heavy, be kind to yourself. You’re still here, and that matters.
