Creating a routine might not be for you, creating a routine might be to regimental for you, or you might want to just go with the flow and want to create some sort of a routine when your child is a little older……
In my personal and professional experience I would say it’s better and more beneficial to create good routine and sleep habits sooner rather than later.
It’s easier to sleep train a baby as they have fewer habits to break than toddlers or older children, they have no memory of what used to happen a week or a month ago and babies aren’t as strong willed yet like a toddler or older child could be.
Babies also thrive of routine, it makes them feel secure and their learning habits become more independent.

With yesterday being world mental health day, it got me thinking how detrimental sleep deprivation is to our mental health. Not to mention the pressure it puts on our relationships and lives!
Lack of sleep can play a massive part in post natal depression and in general depression.
It is so important to recognise the signs, to get advice and get help.
Everyone needs sleep to function and carry on their day to day lives.
