OPP Logistics provide delivery services for various clients one of which is the UK’s leading white goods company. You will become part of a large team who will deliver anything from small appliances such as an ‘Echo Dot’ to a large ‘American Fridge Freezer’. All of our crews are two man teams so team work is key! You must be able to work well under pressure and have good customer service skills. As part of the job role you will be given full training and tools to provide an excellent customer experience. Here at OPP Logistics we pride ourselves on delivering a 5* Service, putting the customer at the forefront of our minds in everything we do.

The Job role is full time working 5 out of 7 days a week with an hourly rate of £9 p/h. You will be working 40hrs per week on a 12 week temporary contract, once the 12 weeks are finished this will be moved to a permanent contract with us which can lead to a higher pay rate after the 12 weeks.

What will I be responsible for?

Ensuring all systems housekeeping is maintained
Monitor any issues, escalating them to the supervisors
Ensure all licences are checked prior to despatch
Assist with ensuring all drivers hours are logged correctly
Brief and de-brief both internal and agency drivers
Liaise with both the customers services and planning department to ensure any delays are reported, supporting with any queries
Assist in the investigation of late/failed deliveries
Update daily reports and spreadsheets
Ensure KPIs are met
Any and all additional duties deemed required by the depot staff
