What are you purposefully doing to NOT achieve the thing that is so important to you?
It’s a purposely challenging question I ask myself and my clients a lot when we're not seeing the results we want in life
Because so often in life we have things we want to achieve, things we want to be different. And often we KNOW exactly what we need to be doing to get there.
Yet we don’t do it. And nothing changes. And this can go on for years sometimes.
Because we all experience something called a knowing vs doing gap. And even though we consciously know what we should be doing to get the outcomes we want, we often slip back into our subconscious thinking that then drives our choices, our behaviours, and therefore our results.
And it’s the reason simply giving ourselves something new to do on our 'to do list' simply won't cut it. Especially if it's something that has fear or negative beliefs attached to it.
So the next time you notice you are not getting the results you want in an area of your life, spend some time thinking about this question
‘⚡What am I purposefully doing to not achieve the thing that is so important to me?’
⚡Bringing awareness to this will then begin to help you figure out exactly what’s getting in your way and what choices you are making every day that might be limiting you

Many women I speak to say there is STILL a real lack of information in some businesses on how to truly advance into the top leadership positions.
Too many businesses also still reserve the top leadership development for an elite group ( despite a clear need for this from trainee all the way through to Exec and especially around return to work)
This is clearly on businesses and leaders to transform but here's some simple questions we can be asking to ensure we are taking control of our careers and pushing the agenda :
⚡Can you share structured information on exactly how I advance to leadership and how you plan to support me in it ?
⚡What leadership programmes have you created for women from entry level through to exec level and how do I access them?
⚡What 1:1 Coaching growth programmes can I access now across the business?
⚡What leadership and support systems do you have in place for my return to work after maternity?
⚡What organizational /system changes have been designed to ensure flexible leadership experiences are available for women?
⚡What senior sponsor, and networking programmes do you have in place for female aspiring leaders?
⚡How are you going to regularly ensure there is a process in place to ask what I want in my career?
⚡What stretch programmes and cross department responsibilities can I get involved with ?
