The HMV SMITHS Radiomobile 200R was produced between 1955 and 1958 in parallel with the 200X model. The only cosmetic difference is the style of the k***s but at the time, it was combined with a more powerful amplifier and aimed at the luxury car market. This one has been beautifully restored for a customer in Australia and upgraded with an AM/FM 4 x 45W RMS Stereo radio and Bluetooth to give fully legal hands-free telephony, audio streaming and voice control. It will be installed in a 1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk III and is the perfect radio for the car.

This 1964 Ford Thunderbird FoMoCo 4TMS AM Radio has been fully restored and upgraded to modern standards with an AM/FM 4 x 45W RMS Stereo radio and AUX input. At the owner’s request, the original wiring connections were retained so that it could be easily plugged back in to the original wiring loom.

This super rare JENSEN branded 1962/3 Motorola 808T hybrid valve/transistor radio was sent to us at for a concours restoration. Scroll to the end of the photos to see the condition it arrived in! The owner wanted to keep it totally original so it didn’t get our usual upgrade with modern technology. Instead, Colin worked his magic to bring the valve radio back to life. Look carefully and you can see the warm glow of the valves in the photograph. It’s now looking great and in reliable working order, ready to go into the concours Jensen that is it’s new home.
