«Very grateful Zhanerke and the team for supporting and help with entering university. Everything went smoothly and well organised. Before I started to cooperate with New School if business I was struggling with entering university for a while. Now I’m studying at one of the best postgraduate universities. Thank you,
Zhanerke for help.”

UNIVERSITIES ONLY REQUIRE PERFECT ENGLISH 😱

and that's absolutely untrue! 🤪

You're probably wondering: "What level of language proficiency is required?"

And NewSchool has the answer:

✅ Requirements vary widely among all universities. They range from pre-intermediate to advanced. Don't worry that your English level or pronunciation won't suit a British university.

✔️ Most universities often want students to have a 6.5 on the international IELTS exam for their first year. An IELTS score of 5.0 can be sufficient to get into a "foundation year," but it won't be enough for the first year.

✔️ But for certain fields like medicine, a solid 7 on IELTS may be required!

The next question that's likely on your mind: "Is taking the IELTS exam mandatory?"

Our answer:
No🙅🏼‍♀️

Firstly, there are alternatives:
◾️ Pearson Academic
◾️ TOEFL
◾️ Cambridge Exam
◾️ GSCE in English
◾️ ESOL level 2
◾️ Password Test
◾️ Duolingo Test (which has become very popular and is accepted by nearly every university after the Coronavirus pandemic).

You can choose any of these! But it's best to first check the university's official website or ask your agent (hopefully, that's @😏).

Secondly, smaller universities, especially private ones, often have their own internal English tests that are:
a) easier
b) free

I've shared more about English language tests in our current story. Hurry and take a look! 😍
