🌼 It's time for another market! 🌼 Come say "Hi"at today to see my macrame up close!

I'll be here as part of their new sustainable market stalls initiative with some other small businesses (they're currently looking for more makers to join - so drop them a message if you're interested)

This beautiful shot was taken by the talented πŸ“· Simon Callaghan on my last visit at Angel

🌼 Thank for all your orders this week 🌼

It feels so rewarding to be working on some orders again, especially as these past couple months have been very slow and with barely any sales. I really appreciate your constant support and can guarantee a happy dance was made after each order πŸ™ˆ

I'm also dropping some more stock at today so if you're strolling around SE London and would like to see my macrame up and close this is your chance to do so 🌼

For any North London folks, I'm back at on the 28th so happy to see you then!

Colourful macrame mat and it's beautiful spider plant 🌼 can't believe how fast this plant is growing - definitely one of the most rewarding plant babies so far!

Today a little yellow flower just popped open 🌼

What's your favourite beginners' house plant?

Sharing my story...

I'm Rosita and I am the maker behind La Rosa Macrame! I was first introduced to macrame about 8 years ago by a backpack traveller in Brazil and It was love at first sight, for the art I mean. Soon I learned the technique for making macrame jewelry and started selling it at university but, as life goes on, I lost the passion a couple years later when moving to the UK. It was just too much happening in my life at that time!

Finally I settled in and well.. my passion for crafting came back. I also started my beginners journey to adopting some new plant babies and that led me to having to figure out where to fit my growing plant collection in a small apartment. Can you guess? I started making plant hangers... and haven't stopped since!

This year, with lockdown and that sudden urge to redecorate my whole house, I was inspired to start adventuring into creating some new pieces to decorate my walls, so I started making wall hangings too! Once thing led to the other and La Rosa Macrame was born 🀍

It’s amazing to see how my creations have evolved along the years. Just love how versatile this technique can be!
