Inner Peace

October 2006, I arrived in Newcastle upon Tyne under the soft northern light, where the River Tyne flows quietly beneath its timeless bridges. As a young man, I found a place that felt unexpectedly like home.
Newcastle was more than a city to me—it was a rhythm. The wind along the quayside carried melodies, and the reflections on the river seemed to whisper stories of belonging. In those quiet moments, I listened—to the city, to the silence, and to the memories forming within me.
Years later, those memories found their voice through music. With piano and guitar, I composed an instrumental that captures the calm evenings, the river walks, and the quiet bond I once felt with the city.
