I'm in awe at how gorgeous this piece by is!

Gold and green.

Green isn't a colour I tend to use much, but once I'd decided on gold leaf I knew this piece needed to be a deep rich green. I custom mixed from to create this gorgeous shade which I think works beautifully against the gold leaf.

The whole piece was a huge learning curve for me, creating a masked design using with symmetrical curves instead of straight lines was a first and the gold leaf swung between being the most frustrating thing in the world to amazingly therapeutic to work with.

Either way, I'm pleased with the end result and will definitely be being using gold leaf again soon.
