Tribute bands are everywhere these days – but what does it actually mean to feel ‘real’ as a cover band? For us in The Rooftops, it’s about striking that perfect balance: playing the classics just the way you remember, but with enough of our own personality that you know it’s live and a bit unpredictable (in a good way!).

Sometimes a song deserves the kind of note-for-note treatment that would make the original proud (we’re looking at you, “Bohemian Rhapsody”). Other times, it’s about letting rip, adding a cheeky solo or spinning the groove just enough to make even the die-hards smile.

To us, authenticity isn’t about copying – it’s about believing in the music while letting our quirks shine through. After all, no two gigs are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it. Cheers from the pub!

Tribute bands aren’t just for nostalgia nights anymore: they’re packing out venues all over, and we’re loving every minute of it! Classic rock never really went away, and right now, bands like us are riding the wave as covers become the main event. No wigs, no lookalike gimmicks: just seasoned musos with a proper passion for live gigs, cranking out tunes from The Stones, Elton, Oasis, and more.

There’s something magic about seeing a song you love smashed out with real energy and a few surprises thrown in, all while pint in hand. That’s why we’re here: so Surrey, if you fancy joining the classic rock revival (with extra fun and zero pretense), come find us at a pub, party, or festival near you. Let’s make it a night to remember!

Turns out, the secret to getting Nan, Grandad and even your mate's six-year-old cousin dancing at your wedding isn't fancy playlists: it's LIVE classic rock. Multi-generational weddings in 2026 are all about making memories with every generation, so we tailor our set to get everyone up: Queen for the old rockers, Oasis for the 90s kids, and a bit of Elton John to keep your Auntie belting it out. Nothing brings together grandparents and grandchildren like a cracking rendition of "Don't Stop Me Now" (plus, it's scientifically proven that nobody can ignore "Satisfaction" after pie).

At The Rooftops, we take requests, tweak the energy, and make sure every guest finds their groove: even if your father-in-law claims he doesn't dance since Live Aid.

Weddings in 2026? Sorted. Just add classic rock and questionable dancing. Ready for action!!
